How do I Setup or Reset and Apple Router


If you have an Apple router and you need to access the configuration page or reset your router, there are several methods you can use. The simplest way is to use the default IP address of your Apple wifi router and the default username and password to log in to the admin panel of your router.

If you've never changed these settings, you can use this process to change them. If you have changed these settings, these steps will allow you to view your router's current settings and make changes as needed.

Turn on your router

The first step is to locate your router. If you're not sure where it is, check the documentation that came with it. Once you've found it, make sure it's plugged into an outlet and press the power button. You should see the light on the front of the router begin to blink. This means it's booting up.

Hold the reset button.

Press and hold the reset button for at least five seconds. Doing this will clear any current settings on your router and restore it to its factory default settings. If you can't find the reset button, consult your router's documentation.

While still holding down the reset button, unplug your router

If you want to reset your apple wireless router, there's a super simple way. All you need is a paperclip! Make sure your router is unplugged, and then insert the paperclip into the tiny hole on the back of the router. Hold it in there for about 10 seconds, and then release. That's it! Your router will now be reset to its factory settings. Now you need to wait for 30 seconds.

Plug it back in and wait for all of the lights to turn on

The first thing you'll need to do is find your apple router setup. If it's plugged in, go ahead and unplug it. Once it's unplugged, count to 10 and then plug it back in. You should see all of the lights on the front of the router turn on. If you don't, try unplugging and replugging it several times.

If your Internet isn't working, something might be wrong with your modem or wifi connection. Try turning off both and then turning them back on again by pressing the power button for about 20 seconds.

Release the reset button
